| An exquisitely renovated mill, el Molino offers character and comfort: huge, cool reception rooms, four bedrooms (three with substantial en-suite bathrooms); a large pool (11x5m) with numerous terraces and patios on which to eat, drink, relax or enjoy the views out to the mountains at the back or down the valley towards Lake Vinuela. Despite its peaceful, rural setting, el Molino is only 50 minutes from Malaga airport and 30 from the Costa del Sol. Granada airport is only just over an hour away with.
We will give you a generous welcome pack with local food (fruit and vegetables from the fields next door) as well as wines, honey, ham, cheese and eggs.

El Molino is on the edge of the attractive 'pueblo blanco' of Guaro, near the undiscovered and unspoilt market town of Periana. Although it is 20 miles from Velez-Malaga and the Costa del Sol and everything you can find there, it feels like a different world. The house is surrounded on three sides by olive groves and fields, is flanked by two streams and a working farm next door, whose herd of goats passes by twice a day. Periana's small shops and facilities should meet most of your needs with its bars, butchers, small supermarkets and pharmacies and dentists (we hope you don't need that one!). It is beautiful walking country and you can reach Granada within an hour which means you can go ski-ing in the Sierra Nevada, swim in the Mediterranean and be back home for drinks by the pool all on the same day.
