| It is a very light and comfortable house, with large terraces on
all sides overlooking the valley or the mountains. That means that you can
always find shade or sun whatever time of day. The sunsets are glorious!
The house comprises of a living room with an open fireplace and this leads
directly into the dining room in an open plan arrangement. There are French
doors on both sides in both rooms out onto the terraces overlooking the
valley on one side and the mountains on the other. This double aspect keeps
the house cool in the summer. There is a shaded area for eating on the
terrace just outside the dining room.
All bedrooms have great views overlooking
the valley with either French doors or a private terrace area.
For your convenience there is a separate utility room for laundry with its
own small terrace for drying clothes. |

Turre is the nearest village, with good restaurants, shops, supermarkets and
a weekly market. This is about 7 minutes drive away.
Mojacar is divided into the old Mojacar pueblo - a white-washed village
perched on a hill - and the beach area called Mojacar playa. Here there are
long sandy beaches and plenty of beach bars, restaurants etc.
Garrucha to the north of Mojacar is a lively fishing port with a nice town beach and restaurants looking over the sea and port areas.
Fish is landed most days and sold in the quayside market.
The golf course is just minutes away from the house in Cortijo Grande.
Other golf courses include 'Desert Springs' and 'Valle D'Le Este'
Further afield, the stunning Cabo de Gata natural park is about 45 minutes
drive. It is a collection of little coastal fishing
villages including the pretty village of Agua Amarga. It has beautiful beaches and is protected from development.
