Close inland is the country town of Pego nestling amongst orange groves at the foot of magnificent low mountains. Pego is good for most routine shopping. Leisure facilities locally include 3 golf courses within 25 kms (15 miles) including Oliva Nova Golf, a Severiano Ballesteros designed par 73 course alongside the sea 15 minutes from the villa.
